Professor Sueldo was born and raised
in Buenos Aires Argentina, where he completed Medical
School at the University of Buenos Aires and graduated
in 1970. Dr Sueldo moved to the US in 1971 where he
completed an internship and residency in obstetrics
and gynaecology in the department of OBGYN at the Chicago
Medical School in 1976.
After two years as junior faculty in
the same department, he moved to California and joined
the OBGYN department at the University of California
San Francisco-Fresno, as a clinical assistant, then
associate, and then professor in 1994. He has a fellowship
in reproductive endocrinology at the University of Southern
California (1982-83).
Professor Sueldo is Chairman of The
International Membership Committee and Member of the
International Advisory Committee, ASRM and is Scientific
Director of the Center for Gynecology and Reproduction
(CEGYR) in Argentina.
He has authored many articles in peer
reviewed reproductive medicine journals and is the founder
(1984) and present director of the IVF Fertility Center
in Fresno, California.
Professor Sueldo is a founding board
member of the World Endometriosis Research Foundation, and served on its board from October 2006 - December 2009.
